Live intel

Your intel channels as reports and alerts, hostiles drawn on the map

Intel feed with reports and an alert

What you get

On the PC, Eve Empire reads your intel channels as they are written and turns each line into a report: who, where, in what, and how far from you. Reports land in a feed beside the star map and on the map itself, and your own rules decide which ones get your attention.

  • Feed of systems with live intel: region, jumps from your nearest pilot, ships, pilots and kills
  • Threats tab groups reported hostiles by alliance or corporation, with a count of hostiles, ESS and gangs
  • Reports tab keeps every raw line with its time, channel and reporter, and what the app understood
  • Gate camp, bubbles, spike and clear stand out in their own colours, and links in reports open
  • Alert rules by hostile, pilot name, ship class, keyword or kill, within N jumps of your pilots or a system
  • Alerts as a popup that stays over the game, a sound of your choice or a system notification; one Mute button
  • Reported ship icons circle their system on the map, coloured by how many hostiles were seen
  • Pilot cards with danger, recent kills, favourite ships, associates and where your channels saw them
  • Kills from zKillboard in the feed, read as Kill or Loss by your standings, with presets such as solo or capitals
  • Detach the feed or the map into its own window; rules marked Send to phone reach your phone as push

Keep the intel channels open in the game: the app reads the chat logs EVE writes. A home system in Intel settings is used for distances when none of your pilots is online.

Access needed

Works without any access. Grant these to a pilot to get more:

  • Location and ship — Where the pilot is, the ship and online status
  • Contacts and standings — Contacts, standings and alliance contacts

You pick the areas when you log a pilot in and can add more later on the Access screen. How access works →

How to use it

  1. Open Map on the PC with the game running; the Intel panel sits on the left of the map
  2. In Settings > Intel & Map, choose the intel channels to read and set a home system
  3. Each report becomes a row in the Feed and a ring on the map; click a row to jump to that system
  4. On the Alerts tab add a rule: what to match, how far from your pilots, and popup, sound or notification
  5. Click a pilot's name for their card, or the tear-off button to put the feed in its own window

Phone and PC

On the phone — the phone does not read chat logs. While Eve Empire runs on your PC, rules marked Send to phone arrive as push notifications, even with the app closed, and the phone keeps a list of what it received.

On the PC — the full feature: the feed beside the map or in its own window, the alert popup over the game, sounds, system notifications and the Mute button.
