iOS is still in beta — it installs through Apple's TestFlight, not the App Store, while the review finishes.

The desktop builds are not signed by Microsoft yet, so SmartScreen warns about an unknown publisher on first launch. This is expected — here is how to proceed, you only need to do it once:
Signing certificates are planned but not yet in place. The app itself is identical to a signed build — only the publisher signature is missing.
The Mac app is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple.
Updating from an older version? One keychain question, once
macOS asks whether Eve Empire may use org.eve_imperium.tokens.key. Enter your Mac password and click Always Allow. It is safe:
Why only now: older builds were unsigned, so macOS could not tell an update from a different app. From this version on the app is signed, and updates no longer ask. A fresh install does not ask at all.
Eve Empire is free forever, and donations unlock nothing: the app is the same with or without them. If it helps you in New Eden, send ISK in-game to Cydal.
